I really, really do love Christmas. The smells of the freshly cut trees, the beautiful colors, the food, the feeling of excitement in the air -- there's something so mysterious and joy filled about this season. People act differently, (mostly better) and almost everything we do in December seems to be somehow centered around the Christmas holiday. May we take the time to remember the reason for our joy and grasp hold of the peace our Saviour offers. And maybe we could all, myself included, think outside of the box this year. Look around and find a person every day that has a need, even if it's just a word of kindness that we can give. Many of us don't have anything financially to give this season, but I think that God is capable of placing people in our paths that have needs that we can fill - even if it's just a smile or a hug.
